  • Summer Supervisor
    seasonal | full time | retail team | canandaigua, ny
    Seasonal Summer Supervisors support daily kayak and SUP rental operations while overseeing staff and customer experience. This role includes all Associate duties plus leadership, sales, and operational responsibility.
    key responsibilities
    ‍• Supervise and support seasonal staff during shifts
    ‍• Handle customer check-ins, reservations, waivers, and retail sales
    ‍‍• Deliver and enforce safety briefings and procedures‍
    ‍• Act as a key holder; open/close the shop as needed
    ‍‍• Resolve customer issues and handle escalations‍
    ‍• Direct staff breaks, coverage, and shift adjustments
    ‍‍• Monitor weather, water, and safety conditions
    ‍• Maintain equipment, facility organization, and cleanliness

  • Summer associate
    seasonal | full time/part time | retail team | canandaigua, ny
    Seasonal Summer Associates support the daily operations of our kayak and SUP rental shop, helping deliver a safe, fun, and efficient experience for guests. This role is hands-on, outdoors, and customer-facing, with responsibilities across rentals, safety, and basic retail.
    key responsibilities
    • Welcome guests and provide friendly customer service
    • Process check-ins, reservations, waivers, and payments
    • Provide pre-paddle safety briefings and fit PFDs (life jackets)
    • Launch and land kayaks and paddleboards
    • Monitor weather, wind, and water conditions for safety
    • Clean, inspect, and maintain rental equipment
    • Assist with loading/unloading kayaks, SUPs, and trailers
    • Keep rental and retail areas organized and presentable
